Heavy rainfall all over Mumbai while twitterati keeps busy

Continuous rainfall has lashed parts of city and suburbs over the past 48 hours. There is water logging all over Mumbai including areas like Hindmata in Parel, Milan Subway in Andheri, central areas of Kurla, Sion and Dadar, Mira Road, Nallasopara and Vasai. Several streets were water logged causing traffic to move slow or move to a complete halt. Train services were also hit as tracks were submerged in water. Here are few visuals.

Commendable effort from National Disaster Relief Team as they rescued over 1500 people stranded on platform.

While there were many who were keeping us updated of the current situation, others were busy having fun on twitter.
