Christian Connector, Free Christian College Information Website, Announces Scholarship Drawing
Free information about Christian colleges, graduate schools, seminaries and missions organizations is available to high school students and others from The Christian Connector website, which just announced a $1,000.00 Christian college scholarship drawing.
Grand Juntion, CO (PRWEB) February 25, 2005 -- The Christian Connector (www.ChristianConnector.com), a virtual one-stop online shop
where students can receive free information from Christian colleges, graduate
schools, seminaries and missions organizations, today announced that each
student requesting information on their site will be automatically entered into
a $1,000.00 Christian college scholarship drawing.
The Christian
Connector currently has over 90 Christian colleges from which students can
choose. Unlike most students who must research Christian colleges and request
information from them one at a time, students who fill out the site’s Free
Information Form experience the convenience of requesting information from as
many institutions as they like simultaneously, all from just one site. In this
way, The Christian Connector acts as a huge virtual “Christian college fair”
without the student ever having to leave home.
“We are unique in that we
are the only organization of our kind that works exclusively with Christian
colleges,” says Thom Seagren, Founder and President of The Christian Connector.
“In addition, the information we provide is at absolutely no charge to the
student, and our services are 100% opt-in, so students only receive information
they have requested.”
The Christian Connector also assists prospective
students by offering a variety of resources on its site, including pages with
tips on financial aid and admissions, where high school students and others can
browse articles on a range of financial aid and college related topics.
Prospective students may also utilize links to Christian colleges, and learn
about missions’ opportunities.
The process to request information from
the organizations of a student’s choice is effortless. Students simply fill out
a free Information Request Form. Once they submit it, a list of Christian
colleges ordered by the student’s geographic interest appears. The last step
entails checking a box next to each college, university or Bible college for
which the student would like to receive immediate information. The process is
seamless, with the institution receiving a copy of the Information Request Form
so it can respond to the student’s request directly. Depending on the
institution, the information provided includes material ranging from brochures
and application forms to personal contact.
After submitting a request for
information on The Christian Connector, students are automatically entered into
a $1,000.00 scholarship drawing, which is being independently funded by the
organization. Three lucky individuals will be randomly selected to receive a
$1,000.00 scholarship—one for a person who will attend a Christian college or
Bible college (undergraduate), one for a person who will be attending a seminary
or Christian graduate school (graduate level) and one individual participating
in a missions trip or who will be a career missionary. The winners must meet the
guidelines posted on The Christian Connector site at www.christianconnector.com/drawing-rules.cfm, and will be
selected after May 31st of each year. While individuals may utilize the site’s
request form and services as often as they wish, they will only be entered into
the drawing once.
“I feel strongly that many Christian colleges and
universities offer a superior education to their secular counterparts as they
encourage students both intellectually and spiritually,” says Seagren. “We are
offering the $1,000.00 scholarship drawing as an incentive to prospective
students.” Based on his strong commitment to Christian education, Seagren plans
to continue the scholarship drawing yearly.
