Freebirds World Burrito Slated to Expand into San Antonio in August
Freebirds World Burrito, the Texas-based fresh fast casual restaurant known for its Monster burritos, is in the planning stages of opening their first location in San Antonio. It will mark Freebirds 13th location in Texas.
(PRWEB) June 15, 2005 -- Freebirds World Burrito, the Texas-based fresh fast
casual restaurant known for its Monster burritos, announced today their plans
for opening their first
location in San Antonio. The new restaurant will be located at 11224 Heubner
Road, Suite 101.
In additional to Freebirds’ traditional trade dress
elements, which are a blend of metal and wood finishes accented by cloudscapes,
brick walls, concrete floors, and a bright yellow and black color scheme, the
new location will feature tower elements, glass windows along the Heubner Street
side of the building, and tree-shaded
patio area with a playscape.
“With so many people asking us when we were
going to open
a store in San Antonio, the Alamo City
was a natural choice for Freebirds,” said Alan Hixon, CEO, Freebirds World
Burrito. “We’re hoping for the same fanatical following in San Antonio that we
receive from Texans and visitors in the state’s other major metropolitan areas.”
The San Antonio location will serve the Freebirds’ signature fresh, fast
casual fare of burritos, salads, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos.
The San
Antonio location will mark the company’s thirteenth location. The
privately-owned chain currently has locations in Austin, College Station,
Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston.
