Site Dedicated to Faith in Film Expands
Providential Plan Movie Review Site Expands to include Christians in Hollywood, entertainment links, and Christian films in development.
(PRWEB) January 22, 2005 -- A few months ago, Christian author Ken Clifton
(of God of All Hope, 777 Things You Can Do In Heaven, and other books) branched
out on his website to include reviews of spiritual themes in religious and
secular films. Films reviewed so far include Bruce Almighty, 50 First Dates,
Passion of the Christ, T3 and Matrix Revolutions. Now, Clifton has expanded the
site to include even more content. New additions include Christians in
Hollywood, Christian Films in Development, and Entertainment Links.
The
Christians in Hollywood section currently contains 5 page full of actors and
actresses that star in Christian films (like Left Behind, Omega Code, and the
upcoming One Night With the King) and the other secular films they have been in
or are in now. "There is a myth that being in a Christian films hurts your film
career," says Clifton. "This is completely false, and I hope others see that in
these lists."
The section on Christian films in development is an ongoing
collection of films in production by the major and minor Christian filmmakers.
Included is also links to many of the major studio websites.
Finally, the
Christian entertainment links include links to full-length Christian movies
streaming online, freely viewable Christian music videos, and much
more.
"Christianity is a fun religion, full of fun things to read, see,
and do; however, that side is rarely seen in the public square,” says Clifton.
"Faith and spiritual themes are not limited to the church and Sundays. It only
makes sense that Christ's universal themes of spirit, love, and more would be
seen in movies built on truth. This site helps highlight those moments where the
two come together."
Providential Plan movie review pages
(providential-plan.com/reviews.html) are free and are updated weekly with a new
movie review and a new Christians In Hollywood page.
