Religious Group Gains National Press Attention by Offering Chance to be Saved at Tent Revival
Evangelist Brother Anthony Wynn and Oasis Ministries is holding a weeklong tent revival in Wolftown, VA (60 minutes from Washington, D.C.) on Aug. 5-12 at 7:30 p.m. This old-time ritual and Wynn’s charismatic preaching have sparked the interest of the Discovery Times Channel who have been following Wynn around filming a documentary on the life of a country preacher and this upcoming tent revival. Tenatively, the program will be aired in September.
(PRWEB) July 31, 2005 -- Brother Wynn has been evangelizing for 15 years,
traveling some 60,000 miles per year, preaching at hundreds of churches and
holding tent revivals.
Oasis Ministries can also be seen nationwide on
television Monday through Friday and on Sunday mornings on Sky Angel Network.
When speaking of his hopes for the tent revival Brother Wynn said, "My
desire is to see hearts come together. The goal is to bring people of all
backgrounds and all religions together with the love of Jesus Christ."
Webmaster and soundman Rick Morris added, "This is a rare chance for
secular TV viewers to witness the life of a true man of God, who genuinely cares
for all people and who has a sincere heart to help God's people through his no
compromise preaching."
Organizers are encouraging the masses to come and
be blessed by this phenomenal preacher. He has dedicated his life and made it
the mission of his ministry to reach out to the lost and unsaved by spreading
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hosted by Pastor Jeff Shifflett of Wolftown
Pentecostal Chapel, the tent revival is an annual event where everyone is
welcome and invited.
