American Encaustic Artist Uses Encaustic Techniques that is Centuries Old to Paint Unique Angels and Spiritual Artwork Using Beeswax
American Artist, DeAnna Vidoloff, is an encaustic artist dedicated to creating and designing a vision of Angels. Among her popular Angel paintings she is well known also for her captivating and ethereal paintings of a place she calls “where Angels are found”.
(PRWEB) February 12, 2005 -- DeAnna began her encaustic artwork four years
ago in an effort to find calm in her own life. She has since strived to create
artwork that mystifies and captivates while raising the perception and
imagination to a level where one feels touched by an Angel, and swept away to
some place peaceful and illuminating, in bright healing lights and color. The
colors and light effect are very powerful when combined with the engraved
details and designs melted into the depth of the wax. The detail work is much
like a hand print in clay, for example, her Angels all have blowing hair, each
piece of hair is carved into the deep wax and can be felt and seen with the eye.
The unique designs and engraved detail work is created by utilizing various hot
objects and tools, manipulating the wax to create designs and textures that
appears almost 3d when viewed in person. (www.originalwaxpaintings.com)
Though Encaustic
techniques is centuries old, dating back to the Greeks 2000 years ago, she has
fine tuned it and made it her own. After many years of experimenting, she has
developed her own combination of ingredients to produce bright and bold colors
that reinforces the illuminating effect each painting radiates as with her
techniques.
DeAnna is currently working on large canvas and various
platforms such as wood, glass, mirrors and fabrics because of the interest and
request by Churches, Health Care Facilities and Personal collectors of this rare
and unique medium. She is now releasing Giclee prints for the first time due to
high request for prints of originals already sold. Her originals sell quickly
given she gives first hand previews to her Mailing List Members before it is
advertised anywhere else. Its going to be a busy year, says DeAnna, but a very
exciting one.
“I believe each painting is like a journey, revealing a
journey of the one it speaks to.”
DeAnna's encaustic wax paintings are in
world wide collections with sales increasing daily as collectors want to be the
first to add this technique to their collections. DeAnna's increasing popular
art and unique style is sold through her website
