Janet began studying Astrology in the early 1970's
because this ancient art/science seemed to hold the answers to some of her most
pressing questions about how the world works, and the people in it. She was
impressed with the accuracy of this ancient art/science.
In April of
1978, after studying on her own for more than six years, she took the challenge
and passed the six hour exam for Professional Astrologers, Inc., and in August
of the same year, she passed the eight hour, Professional Level exam for
American Federation of Astrologers - thus earning the coveted PMAFA
(Professional Member, American Federation of Astrologers) after her
name.
Janet currently holds a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary
Consciousness Studies from JFK University, Orinda. In addition to her Astrology
work, she has been a corporate vice president and trainer, working primarily
with franchise owners and field offices both here and in Australia. Leaving the
corporate life in 1997, Janet currently devotes herself full time to the art and
science of astrological practice. She currently serves on the Board of Directors
for American Federation of Astrologers, one of the largest astrological
organizations in the world.
