New Yorkers “Up the Lux” at Their Gatherings with Jewelry Crafts
Extravagems has revealed a new spin on the New York City jewelry scene. Bringing parties, showers, and other gatherings to the next level with jewelry making crafts, the NYC community is now able to create the same jewelry designs seen in stores, at a value, while joining with friends in embracing their creative minds.
(PRWEB) July 20, 2005 -- Extravagems introduces jewelry making on a social
level, bringing New Yorkers the means to express their own unique style in
crafting wearable jewelry.
“Jewelry making has provided me serenity as
well as an avenue to express myself creatively,” said Wendy Baum, Founder and
Lead Instructor of Extravagems, “I wanted to share these rewards with my local
community.”
Extravagems facilitates jewelry making instruction in the
comfort of the host’s home. Servicing get-togethers over wine and cheese,
showers, birthday and bachelorette parties, workgroup teambuilding, or kids
parties, New Yorkers can socialize with friends while exploring their personal
talents and adopting a new skill.
“What I liked most about Extravagems is
that I could create multiple pieces, including a gift for my sister-in-law and a
necklace for myself in all of my favorite colors,” said Allison Frenkel, a
first-time jewelry maker.
Extravagems believes that creating jewelry is
far more stimulating than purchasing jewelry, and sharing in the craft with
friends is far better than playing alone.
Extravagems, enhancing gal
gatherings by providing jewelry making training, was created in May 2005 to
share the joys of jewelry craft with the New York City community. Extravagems is
headquartered in New York City.
