Carol Lavin Bernick, chairman of the Alberto-Culver Company (NYSE: ACV), has been named “National Working Mother of the Year” by Moms In Business Network and the International Association of Working Mothers.

Moms in Business Network and the International Association of Working Mothers.

be presented to Mrs. Bernick on May 7, 2005 at the Create Your Dreams Gala at
the new Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Bernick is a 30-year veteran of

the company's top consumer products post, president of Alberto-Culver Consumer
Products. In that position, she achieved national recognition for her
team-building skills and the values-based cultural overhaul that she implemented
