New Author on the Scene Releases Novel, "Little Feather's Woman".
New Author, Maeve S. Fitzgerald, releases historical romantic comedy - "Little Feather's Woman" - through Xlibris Corparation on or around December 14 2004.
(PRWEB) December 15, 2004 -- Maeve S. Fitzgerald, born and educated in
upstate New York and a long time resident of the Great Basin area of the Rocky
Mountains--currently residing in Wyoming--has progressed from a 'wanna-be'
writer to a Published Author with the publication of her first novel, Little
Feather's Woman (a historical romantic comedy) through Xlibris Corporation,
available on or around December 14, 2004. Many years of writing, researching,
rewriting, more study, more research, and rewriting has culminated in the novel.
Having stumbled through the forested fields, fallen into the muddy
creeks on her grandfather's farm, having an avid interest in all aspects of the
many differing Native Anerican cultures (does not claim to be an expert on this
subject), loving to read and write (Author took a correspondence course in
fiction writing some years ago , and a course in creative writing at the
University of Ca, Irvine--(was a biology major.), the Author felt she was up to
the challenge of writing this novel. She was delighted with the results of her
efforts and perserverance. (Ths novel has been rewritten at least three times
over the last ten years!) Her daughter and daughter-in-law love the book, too.
(The book is now on the way to an independent reviewer.)
Author describes
book as "a delightful frolic through the forest of Colonial America". Author
claims , with the experts, "that laughter is the best medicine", and this novel
is intended to make the reader smile and occasionally laugh out loud. Good
medicine for these stressful times.
