MonkeyMeter.com Announces this Summer's Top Ten Cities with Road Rage in the United States.
MonkeyMeter.com rates road rage conditions for U.S. cities.
(PRWEB) August 14, 2005 -- Monkey Meter is the original road rage traffic
reporter. The site reports the current level of road rage for your city and for
the entire United States. Experienced drivers know that some days are worse than
others on the road, and it's not just Friday's. Checking Monkey Meter you can
see if you are the crazy one, or if it is truly crazy out there.
Using
input from over 12,000 users from over 150 different cities the site uses
several calculations to determine the top ten cities with road rage. The ranking
is constantly being updated, and you can see it here: http://www.monkeymeter.com/topten.php.
This
Summer's Top Ten Cities with Road Rage:
1. Miami
2. Boston
3.
Washington, D.C.
4. Houston
5. Los Angeles
6. Tampa
7. San
Diego
8. Atlanta
9. San Jose
10. Orlando
Miami has been without
a doubt the worse place for road rage this entire year. Tampa and Washington, DC
are usually close by. Currently ranked second, Boston, is usually in the top
twenty, but began climbing the ranks in mid June to it current
position.
Also available on the site is information on the moving trend
for road rage, a place to vent your feelings, and recently added, a mobile link
for users to rate their rage by their favorite handheld device. A national
average page also exists displaying all of the cities in the current data base
with their current road rage rating. The site tries to keep the attitude light
by including daily jokes, and place for pictures relating to anything
automotive. Links to other automotive related sites are also
available.
Since Monkey Meter’s beginning, Dec. 2004, user input has
reflected an overall drop in road rage. A semi predictable pattern also emerges
from user input as well. It appears road rage basically goes up for a few days,
and then down for a few days like a sin wave. The overall average has no
relation to day of week, though days of week have consistent predictable rating.
