RMCWR Offers Weekend Writing Retreat September 22-25, 2005

Retreats (RMCWR), a unique writing instruction program that combines coaching
with spiritual guidance, will offer a weekend writing retreat at the Hurd Creek
Ranch in the beautiful Fraser Valley near Granby, Colorado. The retreat, from
Thursday afternoon on September 22nd to noon on Sunday, will focus on the craft
of writing, examine powerful storytelling in literature and film, and conduct
innovative approaches to stimulate participants' writing.
Under the
instruction of David Hicks, Ph.D., participants will learn to bring out their
own powerful prose. Spiritual guidance will also be provided by jhana yogi
Michael Hawkins, who will lead writers through meditation practices designed to
help eliminate distraction and realize their fullest potential.
Attendees
are also offered the opportunity to indulge in:

your writing with David Hicks, Ph.D.
* a one-hour astrology reading with
Michael Hawkins, CAT
* innovative writing prompts using music and film

guided meditation to clear your mind for writing

editorial help following the retreat
