Softlink Philanthropic Efforts Top $100,000
Free library automation software for churches and synagogues in North America.
(PRWEB) January 15, 2005 -- In July of 2004, Softlink announced that it would
provide library automation solutions to churches and synagogues in North
America, free of charge. Although this effort has been met with some skepticism,
all who have asked, have received.
Softlink is proud to announce that,
as of January 2005, more than $100,000 worth of Softlink Library has been
shipped to churches and synagogues in North America. “We are so excited that
this program has been met with such embrace from the community,” said Robert
Corrao, Softlink America’s President. “As we continue to grow our business in
the U.S., providing Softlink Library, our award winning Windows-Based ILS, free
of charge to those who are in need, reflects our commitment to giving back to
the library community.”
“We have even made the support contract optional,
and included CBT training free of charge,” continues Mr. Corrao. “Of course, for
those with more substantial needs, we continue to offer philanthropic discounts
on our other products, such as Liberty3, our completely web-based integrated
library system.”
