Orange Park, FL (PRWEB) May 11, 2005 -- Author Leslie Shaw announces the
release of her first novel “All's Fair in Love,” a book that details the lives
of four women and their quests to discover love again after the ending of their
committed relationships.
The lives of Faith, Sonya, Carmelle and Angela
unfold as they look for love in all the wrong places. Values and morals are
questioned in their quests to find Mr. Right. Soon the women realize that things
are not always as they seem and all is fair in the game of love. "All's Fair in
Love" is a book that takes a look inside the characters' love-triangle
relationships and tells a story from the different perspectives of the
women.
The book reveals obstacles such as drug abuse, AIDS, homosexuality
and unavailable men that women face in the dating scene. They learn the
hardships of juggling children, career demands, life pressures and
friendships.
“In writing this book, I tried to capture the feelings
experienced by women – their hopes, dreams, disappointments and failures,” said
Shaw.
Leslie Shaw began writing short stories in 1994. She entered
several poetry and short story contests before writing this novel. In 1997 the
idea of this novel was formed from her own dating experiences as well as
listening to the numerous stories of her divorced and single friends. Currently,
Leslie is working on her 2nd novel not yet titled. She lives in Florida with her
husband and two children.
