Two designers launch an Internet boutique full of passion, personality, style and great product finds to share with others.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) May 19, 2005 -- Graphic designer Jennifer McCully and
Interior Decorator Melissa C. Kurtz, announced today the official launch of www.embellishlife.com, an
Internet boutique containing unique gifts and accessories for the home. Last
summer, the two designers decided to create the site after acknowledging a
common interest in creating an online boutique full of passion, personality,
style and great product finds to share with others in a convenient, fun way.
“Our passion for details and our belief that a simple, well-lived life
in casual yet beautiful surroundings can and should be attainable is what
inspired us to create an Internet boutique,” said Kurtz, Vice-President of CMYK,
Inc. “It is our desire to create and scout affordable gifts and accessories for
the home for others who share the same interests and passions as we
do.”
Embellishlife.com’s soft opening earlier this year quickly became a
favorite site among many Internet shoppers offering gift ideas conveniently
broken down by type of recipient as well as breaking down the site’s products by
using fun category names that are easy to browse through. Category names such as
Fashionable Favorites, Finishing Touches and Spread the Joy are among ten
categories to shop.
“From simple to extravagant, we are always looking
for new and exciting ways to embellish life and make living spaces beautiful”,
states McCully, President of CMYK, Inc. “Creating embellishlife.com allowed us
to bring our personalities, our design styles and our favorite products to life
in a convenient manner that we could share with everyone else. There is a story
behind every product that we created and/or chose for our boutique; stories that
we are now able to share with everyone else.” McCully further
explained.
The boutique offers 19 different product lines, some of which
include Pine Cone Hill pajamas, French Bull tableware, Lollia, April Cornell
table linens, home accessories from Global Views, a unique line of beaded shades
and mini chandeliers, as well as fashion jewelry designed by artist Caroline
Wong and Kurtz herself, using high quality stones, Swarovski crystals, and semi
precious gems. To cover the little shoppers, a kids section was assembled based
on the likes and dislikes of the founders’ six children combined. Future plans
for the site include a wedding gift registry which will launch this summer and
future products include a line of custom fabric handbags and decorative pillows
designed by Kurtz are due out at the end of 2005. A complete line of home
accessory items using designs created by McCully herself will launch in
2006.
