Call for Entries - $10,000.00 First Prize Intaglio Composites Presents Designare Dramaticus 2005
Intaglio Composites hosts its first international art competition. We are seeking real-world designs that exhibits the most well-conveyed, extensive and inventive display of originality and creativity in the application of photo-engraved concrete. A 15-judge panel of architects, curators, designers, and engineers from the USA & Europe will award a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. First place winner will receive $10,000(US) or $50,000.00 (US) worth of product.
(PRWEB) June 16, 2005 -- Intaglio Composites hosts its first international
art contest. We are seeking a real-world design that exhibits the most
well-conveyed, extensive and inventive display of originality and creativity in
the application of photo-engraved concrete. Submitted designs can be real or
fictional. Designs are not limited to any specific category or application.
Designs must be clear and concise.
Entries should explain how your design
is innovative and how the proposed concept can be practically applied. It should
show originality in thought and execution. You must provide a short 50-word
Executive Summary description of your design and a general 500-word description
of your design that is suitable for publishing if you win. Intaglio Composites
has the right to publish this information if you win. Your submission must be
accompanied with artistic imagery showing your concept. Any original or hand
rendered drawings must be a minimum size of 8.5” x 11”. Electronic reproductions
of artwork must be 300 dpi or greater.
A qualified panel of judges,
assigned based on knowledge, background, and expertise, from the United States
and Europe, will determine the winners of this contest. The prize-winning entry
will be selected based on creativity, overall concept, and clarity of written
explanations. First prize-winner wins $ 10,000(US) or $ 50,000 worth of
product.
This is an invitation to all of those creative minds out there
that see the world as an artistic pallette, awaiting the next ingenious stroke
from their imaginative brush. We have created a process to place photographic
imaging and graphics permanently into any concrete surface. Using this
possibility for a long-term method of conveyance, we invite you to participate
