Over 3,000 Expected to Attend Annual ACFA Convention
The American Cash Flow Association’s annual convention in San Francisco may be the largest gathering of its kind ever.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) May 14, 2005 -- The American Cash Flow Association’s
annual convention in San Francisco may be the largest gathering of its kind
ever.
To be held May 26-29 at the San Francisco
Hilton, Cash Flow 2005, ACFA’s 11th annual meeting, is expected to attract over
3,000 ACFA members.
“We were in San Francisco in 1998, and that
convention was our biggest ever, despite several very successful conventions
since that time,” said Cathy Simmons, ACFA’s convention director. “We know
people love to come to this city, so I’m not surprise that registrations are up,
and we have exceeded our original room block.”
The Exhibit Hall is also
larger this time around with a greater variety of funding sources and service
providers prepared to meet the consultants they rely on to bring them business.
The number of breakout speaker sessions has also increased from 73 to 98
different cash flow professionals prepared to share their secrets with the
member consultants.
“Even though the cash flow industry does not require
consultants to earn a set amount of continuing education credits, truly
successful consultants know they must learn about the new techniques and methods
of working in the cash flow industry and must meet the funding sources who have
become part of the industry,” said Simmons. “Plain and simple, Cash Flow
conventions are where they can do that. This is not a business trip where people
come to vacation and have a good time. Our members are serious about improving
their skills and becoming better at what they do.”
“We will also be
unveiling our online business management system, CashFlowPro™, which was
developed by our Web development team. It will enable our members to streamline
their businesses and offer even better service to their clients,” said
Simmons.
The convention also serves as a time and place to induct new
members into ACFA’s Million Dollar Club, a distinction afforded to the most
successful consultants. In San Francisco, 13 members from across the United
States and Canada will be inducted.
