About the
National Work at Home Mom Association
The NWAHMA is a not for profit
association. The association’s advocacy message is to find ways for parents to
leave the work force and return home. We feel that if we can help find work at
home options for parents then they will return home and be available to their
children when they need them.
By bringing at least one parent home we
feel that we can drastically reduce teenage drug use, pregnancy, depression and
suicide. We also feel that young children will be less at risk for abuse and
neglect while receiving a better well rounded home life they may also do better
in school.
Please help us to continue our work. We can not do this
without your support.
Nani Linder's story of hope and determination is a
reminder to all that life is not a dress rehearsal.
Nani presents a
fascinating story of tragedy and triumph. In 1983, Nani Linder (born and raised
in Hawaii) suffered an extreme allergic reaction to medication administered to
her because of her exposure to TB. It irreparably altered the course of her
life, damaging her nervous system and leaving her with autoimmune deficiency
disorder, also known as "universal allergic syndrome." Nani Linder's story of
hope and determination reminds us all that life is not a dress
rehearsal.
" Trial by Fire: A True Story Of Hope, by Nani Linder, is a
riveting account of one person's struggles to overcome the odds. You will
accompany the author on her journey and experience the incredible power of the
human spirit. Nani is an inspiration to those many people who suffer daily from
chronic disease and to the rest of us who are left so thankful for our good
health. You can read more about Nani Linder at www.universityoflife.info
