Lawson Falle Introduces 2005 Franklin Graham Collection Christmas Cards - Part Of Proceeds To "Operation Christmas Child"
Rick Tocquigny, President of Lawson Falle Publishing, says two Christmas card box sets in the Franklin Graham Collection will highlight the company's product launch with a portion of proceeds donated to "Operation Christmas Child."
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) July 7, 2005 -- Lawson Falle Publishing launched
its second annual program to benefit children assisted by Operation Christmas
Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, the international relief and evangelism
ministry headed by Franklin Graham.
Two Christmas card box sets in the
Franklin Graham Collection will highlight the 2005 product launch of Lawson
Falle, which will donate a portion of proceeds to "Operation Christmas
Child."
Each of the box sets contain 16 cards,
with 17 envelopes, and has a suggested retail price of $14.99.
Rick Tocquigny, President and Chief Customer
Servant, said, “The Franklin Graham Christmas card box sets are beautiful cards
with meaningful messages and designed to help children
worldwide.”
He said the 2005 box sets will be sold in
Christian stores and other retail outlets and will also be available to
participating churches across North America that collect gift-filled shoe boxes
for children living in desperate situations around the
world.
Franklin Graham said, "It is our prayer
that God will be honored and lives touched by the cards, which convey the true
meaning of Christmas and point people to the Lord Jesus Christ."
The
Franklin Graham Collection box sets includes a card themed to Jesus and the
repeat of the popular Christmas story card introduced last year by Lawson Falle.
Each has a beautiful design theme and inspiring sentiment:
.The “Jesus – The
Name that Forever Changed the World” card is a 3-D embossed greeting card with a
foil stamped in gold lettering and a clear cover with the words “Jesus Forever”
imprinted.
.“The Christmas story is a love story” greeting card notes “It is
God sending His Son, Jesus Christ, on a Rescue Mission to earth.” It is a 3-D
embossed card displaying pine needles and a red bulb with an image of the Christ
child in the manger.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of
Samaritan's Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization
headed by Franklin Graham. Every U.S. President since Ronald Reagan has packed a
shoe box gift for Operation Christmas Child.
This year’s product launch continues the company’s support of Operation
Christmas Child, which it began last year. In addition, Lawson Falle plans to
introduce two Operation Christmas Child box sets in
2006.
Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational
evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to
hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet
the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease,
and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus
Christ.
Tocquigny said, "We encourage churches
and bookstores to support the Christmas box sets. The beautiful Christmas cards
have messages from Franklin Graham.”
In 2005, Samaritan’s Purse hopes to
collect 7.8million shoe box gifts around the world. Last year, more than 7.4
million shoe box gifts were collected and distributed in some 90 countries
worldwide. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered more than 38
million shoe box gifts to suffering children. For more information visit its
