“Church Security Summit 2005” to be Held in Plano, Texas
Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of how to address critical church security issues during the upcoming conference entitled “Church Security Summit 2005”. The 2-day conference, presented by Gatekeepers Alliance, LLC and the Prestonwood Church Security Department, is designed to help church leaders address critical security issues faced by all churches. The conference will be hosted by Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas.

Chuck Chadwick – Nationally know
church security expert and previous Director of Security for Fellowship Church,
Grapevine, TX, one of the largest and fastest growing churches in America.
Chuck’s 25 years of security experience and his founding of the national
organization “Gatekeepers Alliance, LLC” helps him guide churches, both large
and small, in addressing church specific security concerns.
Mike Gurley -
Security Director of Prestonwood Baptist Church for over 15 years and a Dallas
Police Department veteran officer of 23 years. Mike brings a “real world”
perspective to dealing with the security concerns of one of the nation’s largest
mega-churches.
Lamar Slay - Lamar Slay has been involved with some of
the leading churches in America for the last 30 years. State and national
denominational groups have called on him to assist in developing and
implementing new programs and Pastors have sought his help with dealing with the
challenges of their congregations. Lamar has served on the teaching teams of
both Saddleback Valley Church in southern California and Fellowship Church in
the DFW area, two of the largest and fastest growing churches in
America.
The conference will open on Thursday, September 15th at 7:30
a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and continue throughout the day on Friday, September 16th, 7:30
a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Continental breakfast will be served on Thursday and
Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. and all events will conclude with a Q & A
forum.
