U.S. Army Soldier Releases Book of Poetry
Jason Lammons (U.S. Army Communications Soldier) releases book of poetry dedicated to the memory of his little brother (R.I.P.) Daniel Jonathan Lammons.
(PRWEB) June 27, 2005 -- Louisiana Native, Jason Lammons, has been writing
lyrics and poetry since he can remember.
"I always needed a way to
express myself and how I felt about all the beautiful things people overlook
each day and the taking for granted of time we actually have on this earth. I
also find myself driven to have a voice against the injustice I see in the
world."
Lammons decided to dedicate himself to a project honoring his
brother, Daniel Jonathan Lammons, who was a member of the Army Reserve and
headed on to a wonderful life full of travel, challenges, and opportunity.
Daniel passed away in Nov. of 2002 at 19 years old. Lammons gathered his works
of poetry and began writing more poetry he felt could express his feelings
toward his brother, similarities he found in himself and his brother, and also
poems marking high and low points of his life.
