(PRWEB) April 25, 2005 -- Joanna began her career as a nurse and 23 years
later found herself in the number two position of a successful Visiting Nurse
Association. But something was clearly missing in her career choice and she was
unhappy. Joanna is a classic example of a successful professional who grew out
of her job. She was no longer challenged and felt “stuck”. Joanna had a bad case
of “clutter”, those real and imagined obstacles that prevented her from making a
career change. What she needed was “clarity”.

very heart of a career transition process developed over a 14-year period by Ray
Inglesi, M.A. Ray is President of Drake Inglesi Milardo, Inc., a broad-based
human resources and career transition firm founded in 1981 by John Drake, PhD,
founder and former President of what is now DrakeBeamMorin, Inc.
Joanna’s Core Themes centered around intellectual stimulation, learning
and knowledge, and a high interest in research and teaching, but these essential
needs, values and interests were not present in her career choice. Knowing her
Core Themes, she now had the “roadmap” to pursue her passion and make choices
that would lead her to finding the
right career. Joanna resigned from her position and entered university to
complete her doctorate in nursing with her objective being to teach and do
research.
The Core Themes program evolved from consulting to counseling
hundreds of intelligent, talented and motivated professionals who were simply
unhappy and unfulfilled in their career choices. The process of discovering ones
unique Core Themes to help them make the right career
choice is appropriate for those serious-minded individuals who are willing
to make a commitment to a rigorous self-investigation, are resolved to live a
life of real meaning and purpose, and are excited about making a career change
that will reflect it.
The program is composed of four distinct
phases:
Phase 1- Discover who you really are at a deeper level of
understanding than you have experienced to date. This is accomplished by: a)
undergoing a comprehensive and rigorous assessment; b) a careful and thorough
exploration of your personal and professional history.
Phase 2- Identify
and accurately describe your unique Core Themes. Written exercises and deeper
exploration.
Phase 3- Create a practical career transition plan with
specific objectives toward career change.
Phase 4- Execute the
plan.
No one should have to continue in a job that provides unrewarding
consequences. The choice is yours, and you alone can take control of your life
and move toward finding the right career. Discovering and living your Core
Themes gives you the freedom and power to make the best decisions for you. It’s
that simple!
