(PRWEB) December 3, 2004 -- After April 30, 1975, from the day the Communist Vietnamese invaded South Vietnam and seized power to govern the whole country from North to South, the main Religions including Buddhist, Roman Catholic, Protestant, Cao Dai Buddhist, and Hoa Hao Buddhist, were the main forces which have opposed secretly or directly upright the Vietnamese Communist Regime's oppression.

They are all brave religious revolutionary combatants who dared to fight straight and directly the Communist Headquarters.

The Vietnamese Constitutional Monarchist League always stands behind this noble cause to honor and support the Council of Religion's opposition against the Communist Regime and other different Religions' resistance for Religious Freedom and Human Rights abroad as well as inside the country.

The Vietnamese Constitutional Monarchist League is leading a vigorous and persistent struggle for the Nation and the People of Vietnam until all the Nationalist Vietnamese eliminate the Communists and bring Happiness and Welfare to the People.

All leaders of religions are the religious revolutionary combatants who have resisted directly the Vietnamese Communist Headquarters. Venerable Thich Quang Do published a famous book shaking the whole World in which he denounced the Vietnamese Communist's crimes such as massacre, killing the innocent Vietnamese People systematically.

Venerable Thich Huyen Quang and the other Buddhist leaders have opposed secretly or directly straight the Vietnamese Communist Regime for both religious Freedom and human Rights.

The Catholic Religion with the high-ranking leaders such as Venerable Bishop Nguyen Van Binh, the late Venerable Bishop of Saigon Catholic Zone Nguyen Van Thuan, and the late Venerable Bishop of Hue Catholic Zone Nguyen Kim Diem had faced patiently the cheating and despicable Communist measures "Divided for Domination."

Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly of the Nguyet Bieu Catholic Village, Hue City, courageously and vigorously stood up resisting directly the Communist Vietnamese with the slogan "RELIGIOUS FREEDOM OR DEATH". His act of bravery symbolized the heroism, patriotism and love of Jesus Christ of a Vietnamese religious revolutionary combatant.

On the Birthday Celebration of Venerable Huynh Phu So, Founder of Buddhist Hoa Hao, the Vietnamese Communist Authorities oppressed cruelly the Buddhist Hoa Hao Religion. Venerable Le Quang Liem, President of the Buddhist Hoa Hao Executive Board, high-ranking Hoa Hao Leaders and the Hoa Hao Members were seriously wounded.

On December 27, 2000, Venerable Le Quang Liem, Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly and Venerable Father Chan Tinh unanimously issued "The Announcement about the Communist Regime's Religious Policy in Vietnam." with Venerable Thich Thien Hanh's signature "Happy and consented with this Announcement." The Announcement clearly revealed the Vietnamese Communist Regime's harmful Policy toward Religions through many different forms and measures, contrary with the pledges on their Constitution, and in the Declaration of International Human Rights that they pledged to obey.

Recently, Venerable Le Quang Liem set up a historic trip to meet with Venerable Thich Thien Hanh, Venerable Thich Chan Tri and Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly in a secret place at Hue City. Four religious Leaders were very glad to meet each other. They embraced together, and shared with each other the difficulties and obstacles on the way preaching

After Venerable Bishop Nguyen Nhu The with ten Catholic Fathers were leading Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly to the An Truyen Village for nominating him the President of Catholic Zone, the International Religious Committee for Vietnam immediately announced that he was strictly investigated by the Vietnamese Communist Authorities.

The political situation in Hue-Thua Thien on February 08, 2001, was so critical and special because the week for "Repentance and Peace Zen Praying" of the Vietnamese Unified Buddhist Congress' Hue-Thua Thien Buddhist Monks has begun. The Vietnamese Communist Authorities ordered a large force of secret agents, armed policemen to be ready to oppress a large number of people and Buddhist members. All the members participating in this significant ceremony could go up to ten thousands of people including all Religion's Representatives.

Synchronizing with this event, the Communist Authorities also used their secret agents and armed policemen firmly surrounding both Nguyet Bieu and An Truyen Catholic Village where Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly was executing his sacred duty toward his religion.

The most recent news said that the Communist Authorities applied their deceitful policy so-called "Administrative Measure" to imprison Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly in An Truyen. He has been totally controlled. The Communist Vietnamese have strictly followed him at all times. All his telephone and computer system has been disconnected. He has been totally isolated from the World.

This "Administrative Measure" recalled to us the French furtive measure that imprisoned our Revolutionary Patriot Sao Nam Phan Boi Chau up to his death in the Historic Ben Ngu Area, Hue City.

In the vigorous struggle against the Vietnamese Communist Regime, Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly is typically the heroic Religious Revolutionary Combatant with his strong announcement and standpoint never surrendering the Communist Vietnamese "This struggle is intensive and ceaseless...Freedom for Religions or Death!"

Venerable Le Quang Liem's announcement made us moved and respected: "If I have to die for creating a successful way leading to Freedom and Democracy for Our People; if I have to die for the Hoa Hao Buddhist Religion, five millions Hoa Hao members to survive, I would be ready... That is my aspiration!"

Indeed, being the people who are ready to sacrifice our lives for our struggle, we are really moved before the Venerable Priest's ceaseless and dangerous opposition for Religious Freedom and Human Rights against the Vietnamese Communist System's harmful policy.

We respect and honor our Venerable Priest's acts of bravery and heroism.

We fully support your energetic opposition for Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights for Vietnam in your non-violent policy and in the benevolent, philanthropic and humane spirit of sacred religions.

On behalf of Vietnamese Nationalist Citizens, we strongly ask the Vietnamese Communist Regime to release immediately the "so-called administrative measure" toward Venerable Father Thaddeus Nguyen Van Ly and other patriots. They only execute the citizen's duty to ask for the basic Human Rights in the non-violent policy.

Simultaneously, the Communist Vietnamese must stop the domination and cruel oppression toward the people who just have the different opinions and standpoints with the Communists. Finally, we ask the Vietnamese Communist Regime to execute in reality Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights for the People.

May God bless you in the vigorous and ceaseless struggle for the People and Country, and bestow you all energy and determination to accomplish the heroic mission that our Fatherland has appointed.

We pay much respect to Father Nguyen Van Ly. Venerable Thich Quang Do, Thich Huyen Quang, Dr. Nguyen Dan Que, Attorney Le Chi Quang, Attorney Nguyen Van Minh, Dr. Pham Hong Son and our other heroes who have been tirelessly fighting for a democratic and free Vietnam in which basic human and religious rights are legally recognized and executed.

"When we are not devoted to serve the People, we cannot have the right to ask for the favors from the nation."
