Love, Peace, and Soul - While on the Red Carpet at the 19th Annual Soul Train Music Awards, Artists Took Time Out to Help Aid Tsunami Victims

The red carpet was slammin’ with some of the hottest and most respected artists in R&B/Soul, Rap, and Gospel at the 19th Annual 2005 Soul Train Music Awards™. Artists such as Mya, Nicole Richie, Vivica A. Fox, Ciara, Christina Milian, and Ice Cube illustrated what Soul Train was founded on, “love, peace, and soul,” as they took time out on the red carpet to ink their names on the WINFUEL/TRIMSPA NASCAR® hood to help benefit Tsunami Relief.

Currently bearing over 80 signatures, this one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia has traveled to 5 Award shows and will soon be donated to Operation USA and auctioned on eBay to help raise money for the people of Southeast Asia who are still suffering from the devastation of the Tsunami that tragically hit back in December.

The Soul Train Music Awards presented accolades in categories ranging from Best Female & Male R&B/Soul Single to Best Gospel Album. Co-hosted by R&B great Brian McKnight, American Idol® favorite Fantasia Barrino, musical talent Nick Cannon, and “The Simple Life” co-star Nicole Richie, this year’s award show showcased an A-List of presenters and performers that made this year’s award show one of the most memorable.
