"God Helps Those..." Author Alan Cramer Revealed

Who is Alan Cramer?

Bronx, NY (PRWEB) January 27, 2005 -- Alan Cramer the author of, "God Helps Those..." is a recovering addict with twelve years clean. He was raised in working class single parent home. His mother was a registered nurse. In spite of this he drifted towards the street life. At the age of 20 he was involved in a botched robbery that resulted in the death of his best friend. This incident convinced him that a life of crime wasn’t for him.

A year later he received a civil service job. Even though some might have considered him middle class, his drug addiction kept him close to the streets. His stories are based on his and the experiences of others he knew.

When asked why he is writing these types of stories, Alan explains, "hopefully I can show the grittier side of the streets. And maybe convince some of our youth that drugs and the street life are not where it’s at."

Alan Cramer's novel, “God Helps Those…” This novel exposes the effects that the crack epidemic of the ‘80’s had on the Black middle class. “God Helps Those…” (ISBN0975320513) is on sale now every where. It is published by Bronx Village Publishers, distributed by A&B Distributors Ph: 718-783-7808
