WEST CHESTER, PA (PRWEB) March 25, 2005 -- Rock-climbing walls. Miniature
golf. Team-building exercises. Tempting delicacies. Exciting people. Fabulous
business opportunities. Is this a cruise ship commercial or a
business-to-business expo?
It’s a business expo on the cutting edge.
Housed this year at United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, The Chester
County Chamber of Business & Industry will host the 11th annual
Business-to-Business Expo on April 13, 2005. Entitled “A Winning Team”, this
year’s event is presented by Action International, Commerce Bank, and UPS. Over
one hundred twenty-five local businesses will share their expertise, products,
and services from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Always a perennial favorite for local
businesses and attendees alike, this year’s event promises to “take it to the
next level” of excitement. New as a venue this year is United Sports Training
Center in Downingtown, twice the selected choice for two visits by President
Bush when he campaigned in Chester County. This location is also the practice
site of The Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team. Located just off the Rt. 30
by-pass at the Rt. 340 exit, United Sports is easily accessible from all points.
Visit www.go2ustc.com for directions.
Other great events will
roll out all day. Look for gymnastic Olympic Gold and Bronze medalist Dominique
Dawes to address The Leadership Lunch, at 11:30 a.m. At that time, First
National Bank of Chester County will present the 2005 Female Business Leader of
the Year Award to Ms. Kathleen Lick of Centerline Design, Graphics &
Marketing of Kennett Square. Tickets are $50. Reservations are preferred.
Tickets available at the door.
As evening falls, First Financial Bank
will sponsor, The Taste of Chester County, a real crowd-pleaser offering a
selection of delicacies from fine restaurants and food merchants. The 2005
Entrepreneur of the Year Award will also be presented during this tantalizing
event. Tickets are $30 per person. Blocks of tickets are available.
